Our new Spring & Summer menu 2013 launched this week. Don't worry all of your favourites are still here we've just added a few extra dishes to keep everybody happy.
Our popular sweet potato fries with aioli dip are not just a saturday special anymore, you can come in and grab these any day of the week!

The first of many new events to celebrate the expansion is “Salt of the Earth Presents Great North Pie Co.” Neil Broomfield brings his handcrafted, multi-award winning pies, which in only a few years have received great critical acclaim. For a night of great north food, great north music and great north hospitality come to grab a taste of one of the most exciting new fine food brands around.

Come and take a look at our new upstairs area. We've opened two new rooms to help make you guys a little comfier. For a more relaxed atmosphere head upstairs to chill in our 'Common Room'; here you can read books, play board games or just sit and chat with friends.
For bigger parties we've got 'The Dining Hall' a beautiful room with tons or natural light where we can now seat you and up to 7 friends!

For April we've got in a new Rwandan Birembo washed bean.
In the cub expect a lovely caramel sweet front end, that develops into a bright sharp citrus acidity and a dark chocolate cocoa finish.
